Teamspeak 3 overlay requires connection with Teamspeak 3 client to get information about users and their actions.This connection can be established with a special plugin, available in PlayClaw. Manual installation of this plugin is very easy.Take a look to this short tutorial or read following text.
Open a folder where installed PlayClaw is located, then Tools subfolder.Here you will see our Teamspeak 3 plugin package file: playclaw6_overlay.ts3_plugin.
Double click on this file to start Teamspeak 3 addons installation utility.
Just click on Install button and plugin will be copied to appropriate folder and Teamspeak 3 client will know this information on the next start.Utility will warn you that you should trust the source of plugins. Make sure you've got this package from our web site.
You will be asked to enable the installed plugin and to restart Teamspeak 3 client.

You may check that PlayClaw 6 plugin is loaded by Teamspeak 3 client and enabled.If everything is good, then you will see that 'connection error' text is disappeared in Teamspeak 3 overlay.
That's all. Configure the overlay as you wish and go to fight ;)
We have compiled a few known issues and solutions for the TeamSpeak 3 Overwolf overlay.
The most important and very first necessity to check is that your TeamSpeak 3 client is updated to the latest version (same with Overwolf).
Overwolf TeamSpeak app won't connect / doesn't show channels
These issues might be associated with TS3 trying to connect to the server, try reloading your plugins.
- Launch the TeamSpeak 3 client
- Select 'Tools' and then 'Options'
- Select the 'Addons' tab
- Disable the 'TeamSpeak 3 control' plugin
- Re-enable it
- Press the 'Reload All' button (in the bottom of the window)
How to solve 'TS3 Connection Error'

- Open CMD in admin mode (see gif guide)
- Close Overwolf
- Enter this command: C:'Program Files (x86)Common FilesOverwolfTeamspeakOverwolfTSHelper.exe' /RegServer
- Press enter and close the CMD window
- Try running Overwolf and TS3 again
Note - If you're still experiencing this issue, please reinstall Overwolf and the TS3 appusing this link.
Running TeamSpeak as admin
If you choose to run TeamSpeak as admin, make sure you also start up Overwolf as admin.
Any mismatch might cause the Overwolf TeamSpeak plugin result in a failure connecting to the TeamSpeak client.
*Important note - when launching a game in administrator mode you may have issues injecting the TS overlay. Notifications in League of Legends: Note that in League of Legends the notifications are toggled off by default, if you wish to see them just follow the guide above and uncheck the option 'Don't show notifications when playing League of Legends.'
TeamSpeak won't inject into the game or won't work with Overwolf
The best way to integrate TS with Overwolf is to activate TS in-game while Overwolf is already injected, try following these steps the next time you use the TS overlay:
- Make sure that Overwolf is running
- Start your game
- Overwolf injects to that game, make sure of that by clicking alt+tab, you should see the Overwolf dock (make sure your game is supported)
- Use the Overwolf TeamSpeak app to launch TeamSpeak 3
Can't see TeamSpeak notifications in game
Let us check if your notifications are on by following these steps:
- Right click on the Overwolf icon in the windows tray bar
- Open the settings menu
- Press on the notifications tab
- Make sure that all the checkboxes are checked under the 'In-game' column
