The original version of the LEGO MINDSTORMS platform, the RCX, was supported by LEGO Education until 2009. Since this time, RCX kits have not been readily available for purchase.

LEGO Engineering continues to provide limited support for the RCX platform, including activities and building instructions, as well as tutorials and downloads for the ROBOLAB programming environment.
